Tumulus & Tomb

Tümülüs The Üçpınar Tumulus dating back to the 6th B.C. century is an artifact from the Achaemenids period. The excavation was conducted by Bursa Archeological Museum in 1978. The pieces of the chariot hitched up to two horses and the findings belonging to gallops, which were found in the entry of the tumulus show that the corpse carrying cart was placed there after doing its duty for its owner. Based on these findings, the Tumulus and the cart were reconstructed in accordance with the original version for exhibition purposes.
